SENTÉ Dermal Contour Pressed Serum is a day and night anti-aging serum that is said to help restore firmness, elasticity, and volume while decreasing the appearance of wrinkles and addressing mature or photo-aged skin concerns. It is recommended for all skin types with signs of solar and environme ntal damage. That is my minimum.SENTÉ Bio Complete Serum is a lightweight nighttime formula that is said to promote the appearance of firmer and smoother skin with minimal irritation. The specific products change but the steps and their order do not. No matter how crazy the day, I ALWAYS brush my teeth, wash my face and put on my RESTORE Face Cream before bed. It’s important to note that this is my MAXIMUM routine, which I often complete three times a week. My last step is to apply RESTORE Healing Balm to my eyes, lips and cuticles. I follow one of these treatments with a peptide/biologically active product, such as Sente Dermal Contour Pressed Serum, followed by Doctor Rogers RESTORE Face Cream and Revitalash Eye Lash Conditioner to my upper lash line. I typically rotate my evening treatment between tretinoin with hydroquinone which is only available through prescription, retinol and glycolic acid ( AlphaRet by SkinBetter) or a salicylic acid ( Paula’s Choice 2% BHA toner). Once the body routine is complete, I apply a leave-in conditioner in my hair ( R+Co High Dive Creme) and wrap it up in a towel while I move on to my face, neck and chest. If I did not use the glycolic wash in the shower, I will use a glycolic cream (my favorite is Paula’s Choice Skin Revealing Body Lotion containing 10% glycolic acid) on my feet, knees and elbows prior to moisturizing my body. I currently am formulating a body cream to add to my Doctor Rogers RESTORE® line and often am moisturizing my body with samples of that as well. I then apply Vanicream to my entire body sparing my face, neck and chest. My last step is to wash my face and rinse my hair, face and body one last time.Īs soon as I get out of the shower I towel off and moisturize my arms and abdomen with a peptide product to help with crepey skin I use Alastin Transform Body Treatment.
I stay away from mechanical scrubs, as they can do more harm than good. If I am not, I use a glycolic body wash such as Glytone Exfoliating Body Wash. If I am shaving my legs, that is my exfoliation. I then shampoo, condition and shave my legs with conditioner in my hair. I start with brushing and flossing my teeth. I don’t take extra hot showers, as this is incredibly drying to the skin, but I like it warm and I love to be in there for ten minutes. I like to take it before bed because there is growing data that glycine, a building block of collagen, improves quality of sleep. Before getting into the shower, I take HUM Nutrition's Collagen Love with a big glass of water. I am someone who is always cold so washing the day away and getting all warm and steamy makes me sleepy. ISDIN, Blush on Block and Color Science all make great options that I highly recommend and love. I talk all day, every day with my patients and my lips need some extra TLC. I reapply sunscreen daily, typically in a powder form, if I am going to be in the sun. Throughout the day, I apply RESTORE Healing Balm to my lips. This sunscreen has a milky texture without any tint so I don’t have to worry about staining my clothes. After this, I use ISDIN Eryfotona Actinica SPF 50 for my neck, chest and body sunscreen. I love this product because it has 16.8% zinc and provides a lovely, light tint that makes your skin look nice without too much coverage. I then apply Dermaquest Zinc Clear SPF 30 in Nude to my face. I then apply two pumps of a Vitamin C Serum (I prefer SkinBetter Alto Defense Serum) followed by Sente Dermal Contour Pressed Serum and RESTORE Face Lotion to my face, neck and chest. I start by cleansing my face with RESTORE® Face Wash, drying my face and applying ISDIN K Oxide Eye Cream.
